Series Info:
The Breath of Fire series started out on the Super Nintendo in 1995,with the sequel also on the SNES and the trilogy was completed on the Playstation with this game, Breath of Fire 3. There is a fourth game in the series, and it is quite good, but thats not why you're here.

Gameplay/Battle:
The gameplay was awesome, with the smooth graphics and low loading times.  It also had a very nice looking world map.  The battle system was Final Fantasy-esque, because of its being turn based.  Ryu's morphs are a great part of the game too, you can get some pretty awesome combinations.
RATING: 9/10

Story:
There were multiple story lines in Breath of Fire 3, such as Garr's quest, Ryu's quest, and the search for Rei and Teepo.  They all worked together superbly into a great story, which kept all of us guessing what would happen next.
RATING: 9/10

Music:
Music is what makes or breaks an RPG, and in this case it made Breath of Fire 3 ten times better.  Just go to our BoF3 Music page and listen.  The variety of styles in the music and the performance of it were perfect.
RATING: 10/10

Graphics:
The graphics in Breath of Fire 3 weren't 3D as in Final Fantasy, but cartoons.    The animation of these cartoons was great, but being cartoons sometimes walking would look odd, such as you would be pointing in one direction, but you would walk in a slightly different direction.
RATING: 8/10

Summary:
A great game with few faults, Breath of Fire 3 is a worthy piece of the Breath of Fire saga.

FINAL RATING:
Gamplay/Battle: 9/10
Story: 9/10
Music: 10/10
Graphics: 8/10
OVERALL: 9/10
