In Secret of Mana you will take on the role of Randi, a boy destined to save the world from the evil Empire.  The Empire wishes to awaken a weapon of mass destruction called the Mana Fortress, and it is Randi's destiny to stop them using the mighty MANA SWORD.  He gets help from others during his journey, mainly from a lost sprite child, and a young lady searching for her friend....

Characters

"HERO"(RANDI):  The chosen hero who is able to wield the mighty MANA SWORD.  His adventure will take him to meet his destiny, find out about his past, and save the world....

"GIRL":  Some say she saved the hero from some goblins, some say they met when she was on her way to save a friend, her name has been lost over the ages, but the important thing is she joined him and aided him in his quest.  She would eventually learned how to perform recovery magic....
